An accredited consultant will phone you and ask you a few simple questions. Optivest will then prepare a quotation for your specific needs. Comparing 3 to 4 different medical schemes with one another, in a user-friendly format for easy use.
Step 3
You make a choice and Optivest assist with the full process of application form till activation of the medical scheme.
Step 4
Client Service Centre for after-sales support.
They will assist you with:
- claims and benefit enquiries;
- direct access to administration systems;
- member detail modification;
- product information, and
- advice at option renewal dates.

Independent Broker
If an independent broker wishes to provide this extended service to his clients whereby he can refer his clients to Optivest, he will be required to complete an agreement with Optivest upfront. The independent broker will also need to provide personal and banking details for the payment of referral fees.
Process
Optivest has develop a marketing support process that is fully FAIS compliant and suitable for assisting members with the entire process, from medical scheme quotations to joining a medical scheme.
Benefits to the independent broker
The benefit of dealing with Optivest is that we specialise only in healthcare. The broker’s client base is protected, as no cross-selling is done. This essentially means that if an independent broker is not in a position to assist his client with healthcare, he stands the chance of losing the client. Working with Optivest not only secures the client base but also offers a professional service to clients.
As a referrer, the independent broker need not to be accredited by the Council for Medical Schemes, thus saving on business practice expenditure.

They have been accredited by the Council for Medical Schemes, licensed in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and accredited by the various medical schemes.
Brokers can focus on key business areas and continue to grow their client base while we attend to their clients healthcare needs.
