Corporate Solutions Consultant



General Purpose:


Maintain and grow relationships with stakeholders.  Thorough FNA followed by telephonic and face to face selling of medical scheme, health insurance and gap cover products. In addition to advice and sales this position will also serve as point of contact for the client service support of 3 major national stakeholders and employer group clients.  It is required to function independently focused on and delivering the required outcomes and targets.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • New business development via stakeholder relationships
    1. Telephone sales
    2. Face to face sales
    3. Group presentations
    4. Attendance of union stakeholder meetings in Western Cape Area


  • Customer service support for 2 employer groups in mining industry and 1 in telecom industry.
    1. Service delivery and liaison with clients (both telephonically, sms and via email)
    2. Liaise with relevant partners (HR, Union and Medical Scheme)
    3. Manage and resolve client complaints
    4. Ongoing support with the management of the client’s full health cover portfolio (Medical scheme, gap cover, health cards, programmes, etc.)
    5. Optimizations of chronic medication
    6. Update existing client information
    7. Assistance with claims


Education and Experience:


  • National Senior Certificate – additional qualifications will be advantageous
  • DOFA record from FSCA (can be obtained if not previously registered)
  • RE5 Qualification
  • Inseta record with NQF L5 qualification relevant to financial services industry
  • CMS accredited
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Sales experience – face to face or B2B will be an advantage
  • Customer Service experience -– face to face or B2B will be an advantage
