MEMBER SERVICE CONSULTANT

 

The company is seeking another Member Services Consultant to join the team. This role will form part of the Administration team, and report to the CEO.

Role description:

 

Primarily an Administration function, the role will be responsible for the following:

 

  •  Effective coordination of member service transactions o i.e. Activations, Amendments, Cancellations, Option changes, General Queries
  • Ownership of product provider conservation and retention activities
  • Dependent registration and maintenance
  • Financial Controls i.e. Change of D/O’s, Billings, Recons/Refunds
  • Age Analysis of D/O’s
  • Liaison with Distribution channels
  • Service delivery and liaison with clients (both telephonically and via email)
  • Assistance with other functions within Administration area if and when required
  • Group administration
  • Claims administration

Requirements for the role:

 

 

  • Knowledge and experience of the above mentioned functions
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Medical Scheme/Health insurance industry
  • Very strong Client service focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Relationship management skills
  • Operational efficiency

 

Desired Work Experience:

 

  • 3 to 5 years

 

Desired Educational Level:

 

  • Grade 12 / Matric
